SOCIAL SKILLS CLASSES for gifted children February 28th - running four consecutive Sundays : Winter semester Eye on My Strength-1 (EMS) for gifted children 6-8 years will begin February 28th 12:30 pm- 2:30 pm (weather permitting). There are two openings for this class. EMS -2 9-11 year old gifted children will begin on Feb. 28th at 4 pm. Pizza will be served. The class is two hours Pick up at 6 pm. See children's courses for details. There are 2 openings left.
The social skills classes are not therapeutic interventions and are not appropriate for children who require a therapeutic environment.
All EMS classes require children to be able to focus, demonstrate respect for their peers, and follow directions.

Dr. Marshall has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for her work with the Model Program at Montclair State University. Her techniques to increase protective factors and self-directed behaviors have been successfully used by Bergen and Passaic County schools and parents, and can work for you too!

Courses offered at 525 Wanaque Ave, Pompton Lakes, NJ are: EMS You and Me : Social skills for children 4-5 years old, EMS Elementary School, for children 6-8, EMS transition for children 9-11, EMS Middle School for children 11-13. Management by self: An EMS class for Adults concentrating on developing strategies for goal attainment.
Private psychotherapy and cognitive behavior therapy, as well as life coaching are available.
